    What our people say

As a very active person and someone who is driven by new challenges, new experiences, and multi-cultural enrichment, when I live abroad, I feel 100% alive. This is why after I graduated as an economist in Italy, I’ve decided that by perusing work experience outside my country I will discover my hidden skills and I will get to know myself better.

My first working and living experience abroad was in the Middle East, in the capital of Oman – Muscat, where I stayed for 3 years.  Coming back home from that experience I felt differently – more mature, balanced and happy.  After I’ve been back to Italy, spending time with my family, I started to look for a new job there, but my DNA as a globetrotter was calling for a new challenge abroad. I wanted to stay closer to Italy and at the same time to experience something different. And this is how I found Sofia, Bulgaria, and Yource Bulgaria.

The beginning here was of course challenging, I had to explore everything from scratch, to adjust to a new country, a different job, different culture, and new adventure. Every new beginning is usually tough but from those challenges, my “fighter mode” is usually coming up and this is how we grow!

After a while, I started to notice how beautiful the nature of Bulgaria is, from the place like seven Rila lakes, very old monasteries, natural wonders like Belogradchik rocks, Magura cave to climbing Vitosha in the weekends, made me feel much more part of the community. People here are not necessarily with a smile printed on their faces, but if you need help, they will be polite and very helpful.

At Yource Bulgaria I have found a friendly environment, great colleagues from different cultures, polite management, and professional HR department, and this is why after one year I am still working here.

Everyone is celebrating his birthday and buying sweets for all the job mates.  Going out together after work in different places is also part of everyday life at the company.

My passion for Bulgaria came about 15 years ago when me and my family discovered by chance that there was Bulgarian ancestry in my blood from my mother’s side. Then my mother started to communicate with Bulgarians who lived in Belgium and she started studying the Bulgarian language for 4 years. She also came to visit the country several times and she always came back with incredibly nice stories that she told me afterwards.

That is how my passion for Bulgaria arose and I became more and more curious about the country. For many years I could not let go of that curiosity and I dreamed of taking the step in my life to move to another country. But as for many, taking that step effectively is not so easy. However, at some point the desire prevailed and I finally  gathered the courage to make the move and relocate to Bulgaria. It’s been more than 8 months now and I'm very happy with my decision.

The country has pleasantly surprised me in so many ways. I think it's great that Bulgarians gathered outside in the evening to talk to each other. The center (Serdika) also has so much charm with many beautiful buildings that are nicely illuminated at night. The vibrant nightlife is also something that attracts me, since I myself am a DJ / producer in my spare time. There are lots of nice clubs and locations where you can have a good dance at the weekend. So only praise for Bulgaria from my part.

At Yource Bulgaria I feel very satisfied with my job. I really like my team and I definitely enjoy that I work in a multinational environment. What I appreciate the most here is the support that I got from my Team Lead and my Project Manager from day one and the opportunity they’ve given me to develop and learn. Those things helped me become better at my job and I’m already among the top performing representatives. Yource Bulgaria is a very dynamic company that cares about the people and sees every representative as a person, not just a number like in the most contact centers. This is what I like here. Here you’re actually able to even talk to the higher management if needed.  Little by little I grow as a good representative and I come to work with a smile every day. The opportunity to get to know and to talk with people from different nationalities is what makes it so good.

So for Yource Bulgaria a big thumb up from me!

To many in Western Europe, Bulgaria mostly doesn't sound like a go to location, or at least stirs up mixed feelings. Clichés aside, there’s a feistiness to the cities, an interesting sense of humour, a real readiness to laugh and willingness to pour another Rakia in the face of misfortune. Countries like Bulgaria free your mind and allow you to experience joy in a way that obvious destinations simply don’t. You'll come without preconceptions and meet some of the least dreary people on the planet.

Bulgaria is one of the most beautiful countries I've been to. The rivers, lakes, caves, mountains, waterfalls...are once in a lifetime. The nature is gorgeous and unspoiled.

The villages kind of take you back in time with a very authentic atmosphere and look.

Bulgaria is a country rich in traditions, rich in history and rich in culture. You can never get bored, because whatever time you spend here, it will not nearly be enough to explore it all.

Very important for me is food and I wasn't not sure exactly what I should've been expecting, but in my mind a hell of a lot of barbecued meat and some good Bulgarian wine is all I need.

Next to all of that I love working at Yource Bulgaria because I’m encouraged to try new things out and be innovative… and if it doesn’t work out I’m supported to learn lessons, dust myself off and try again. I feel I am appreciated and allowed to take initiative to get things accomplished. Every day is different challenging and exciting. No two days are the same, bus most of all, I enjoy the people and the diversity of it all.

What do I like about Bulgaria? A better question would be: what do I not like about Bulgaria? 5 years ago I met a beautiful girl from Bulgaria, she was studying in Holland, where I lived, and over time we started living together. Due to my relationship, I visited Bulgaria, and Sofia in particular, multiple times a year. Each time we were visiting Sofia, the day we had to fly back became more and more of a burden.

Why? Most people in Bulgaria ask me. Because in my opinion life here is purer. Bulgaria offers great foods, amazing nature, beautiful culture and the right form of liveliness in the streets. Walk into one of the many parks in Sofia and you will see how many people here still enjoy being outside, being among people and relax in their spare time. This positive feeling is something that I also experience within Yource Bulgaria. The mix of cultures, backgrounds, and people make Yource Bulgaria a very dynamic and warm working environment. Like a big family, where people not only connect on a professional level but also enjoy being together in their spare time. Planning activities together, enjoying this beautiful country with its many possibilities and the dynamic such bonds offer on the working floor, make it a true joy to work at Euroccor.
